Ceramic Big Dots Mugs
The design of these Big Dot Mugs are inspired by Ensō circles. Made out of terracotta clay, they are decorated with underglazes and slips. Each circle is made with a swoosh of black underglaze on newsprint before being filled with color. Then transferred, one at a time, onto the mug itself. Each mug that’s created is unique in appearance with a random pattern of circles and color combinations.
Each mug holds 12 ounces of liquid. Choose a (color-coded) mug in the drop-down and their corresponding images will appear.
Hand built from a low-fire red clay, hand-painted with underglazes, all my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
