Description
The design of these Big Dot Mugs are inspired by Ensō circles. Made out of terracotta clay, they are decorated with underglazes and slips. Each circle is made with a swoosh of black underglaze on newsprint before being filled with color. Then transferred, one at a time, onto the mug itself. Each mug that’s created is unique in appearance with a random pattern of circles and color combinations.
Each mug holds 12 ounces of liquid. The mug designs are each slightly different, choose a (color-coded) mug in the drop-down and a group of corresponding images will appear.
Hand built from a low-fire red clay, hand-painted with underglazes, all my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
