Big Dots Mugs
Inspired by Ensō circles, these Big Dot Mugs are made from terracotta clay and decorated with underglazes and slips. Each circle is made with a swoosh of black underglaze on newsprint before being filled with color then transferred, one at a time, onto the mug itself. The results are each mug is unique with a random pattern of circles and color combinations.
Each mug holds 12 ounces of liquid. Choose a (color-coded) mug in the drop-down and their corresponding images will appear.
Hand built from a low-fire red clay, hand-painted with underglazes, all my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
