Upcoming Events

Below is the current list of 2024 events that I will be participating in.

Summer Art Showcase -July/August 2024

The “Summer Art Showcase” is a community art exhibit hosted by the City of Hillsboro and presented by the Washington County Art Alliance.

This art exhibit will be on display at the Brookwood Library Art Gallery:

July 1st – August 31st
and will feature a wide array of art from artists living in the community.

An artist reception will be held August 1st, at the gallery, from 5p-7:30p.

Oregon Potters Association (OPA) Fall Fair - 2024

The 3rd Annual Fall Fair returns to Cornell Farm Nursery & Cafe on October 4-6th, 9a-5p.

This 3-day event— set inside two of their greenhouses— will feature over 30 ceramic artists. Browse a diverse array of original and creative work by those passionate about their art. All items can be purchased directly from each participant and also make great gifts.

It’s a gorgeous nursery, check out the plants, have a bite at the cafe and enjoy the Fall weather too.

The Cornell Farm Nursery and Cafe is located in the SW Portland Hills: 8212 SW Barnes Road.

Washington County Open Studios Tour - October 19-20, 2024

The Washington County Open Studios Tour is a great opportunity for those interested in art to see up close the creative process and experience the work of individual artists in their own studios.

In addition to my ceramic art, you’ll have an opportunity to see Fred’s landscape and abstract photography this year in my studio.

You can find us at studio #41 on the WashCo interactive map. Over 50 artists open their doors to their spaces for the public to see and learn. It’s an opportunity to ask questions, see how things are made, and a chance to purchase art directly from the artist.

This event happens the third weekend of every October, and this year it will be October 19th and 20th.

Oregon Potters Association Holiday Sale - 2024

The 2nd Annual Holiday Sale will be at the Portland Nursery, 5050 SE Stark, on Thanksgiving weekend: November 29th thru December 1st, 10a-4p.

Rain or shine, it’s happening inside one of their greenhouses. Over 30 ceramic artists will be offering their wares, from functional to sculptural and everything in between.

Lots of free parking, easily accessible by public transportation, browse for inspiration and come find a unique gift for someone special.
