Spring Meadow Bowl

This ceramic bowl was inspired by Gustav Klimt’s landscape paintings. Using an image transfer technique, each mono-printed bowl is unique and reminds me of a Spring meadow full of flowers. After applying multiple layers of underglaze colors, the image was transferred onto the clay then formed into a bowl shape. Soon after, additional details were carved onto the leaves and petals of the flowers.

Hand built from a low-fire terracotta clay, decorated, etched, glazed, and fired twice.

All my ceramic products are handmade in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
