Patterns

Sometimes it pays to look up! I was walking in downtown Portland, the sun was out, it was early afternoon and there had been some rain a few days earlier. As I passed by an awning above my head, I looked up to see a semi-clear plastic cover embedded with organic debris on its top side. From underneath, I shot close to the awning as I could get and this is the result. I continue to find patterns embedded in this image and it just all seems to work from a compositional level!
