Ceramic Herb Strippers

Do you like cooking with fresh herbs but you get tired of picking all those little leaves off of the stems? This herb stripper is a handy way to strip the leaves in one fell swoop as the cup catches the fallen herbs. Each vessel has 3 different size holes in order to fit a variety of herbs from thyme, to cilantro, to rosemary. This is a very convenient tool in a kitchen and made with patient artisan hands orginally from a rolled out slab of clay. It’s then etched, decorated with underglaze washes before undergoing two different firings.

Hand built from a mid-range buff colored clay, etched, glazed, and fired twice.  All my ceramic products are handmade in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
