45 ceramic artists from the Oregon Potters Association: “Success when working in clay requires patience and ultimately having a conversation with the clay. Sure, in the end the artist gets the credit but it’s the give-and-take with the clay that gets the result. And that’s not the only conversation. When the potter and the clay are in concordance, the kiln and glaze carry the conversation forward. This is an exhibition of those conversations in clay.”
“All That It Holds” Show, featuring mixed media abstract paintings by Tiffany Palafox and figurative sculptures and decorative pieces by ceramic artist Rebecca Gerendasy. “In each of our pieces, there is the intention of holding space for those things we not only hold in our hands, but also hold in our hearts. What do these pieces hold for you?”

This will be my first year to participate in the Valley Art Gallery’s Annual Artist Event! They feature a wide variety of artists – from painters, to sculptors, to jewelry, stained glass, ceramics, fiber, and more! In addition to their regular artists, they also invite other PNW artists to this special event. Come see the art and perhaps find something special for yourself or a loved one. The event is held every year for 2 weeks in November. Check back when the dates have been announced.
