Maybe it’s their bright orange color, their shape or their abundance in nature – but I love poppies! And, also just about every other colorful and fragrant flower that brightens my day whenever I see them. Enjoy this 11 ounce, hand-decorated mug as a small tribute to the flower kingdom.
This is a collaborative piece: the ceramic mug was thrown by Thomas Graeper and I decorated the surface by painting a unique design onto newsprint using underglazes, then pressing it onto the terracotta mugs.They are made from a low-fire terracotta clay, mono-printed, etched, and fired twice.
All my ceramic products are handmade in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
