This sculpture was inspired by personal experience—a journey of living life fully after a breast cancer diagnosis and a double mastectomy. The ghost-like specter of uncertainty may linger, but she continues forward, finding beauty and strength in every moment. Even the dandelion pushing through a crack in the sidewalk serves as a powerful symbol of hope and tenacity.

Crafted from low-fire terracotta clay and decorated with underglazes and stains, this sculpture is a one-of-a-kind tribute to the resilience within us all.
