This Ceramic sculpture signifying Life Out Of Balance was inspired by a collage I created during a workshop. The ballerina cow balances precariously on top of cups which are moving about upon a plank that rests up the rim of a round boat being thrashed upon the energy of the combative seas below.

In short, life. It represents an individual ‘Maintaining Balance’ in a largely, out of control world of the 4 bummers: greed, violence, misogyny, and hate.

Made from a mid-range stoneware clay and decorated with stains and under-glazes to create a matte finish
