Ceramic Spring Meadow Serving Platter

This ceramic spring meadow platter was inspired by Gustav Klimt’s landscape paintings. Using an image transfer technique, each mono-printed platter is unique and reminds me of a meadow full of flowers. After applying multiple layers of underglaze colors, the image was transferred onto the clay then formed into a platter shape. Soon after, additional details were carved onto the leaves and petals of the flowers.

Hand built from a low-fire red clay, glazed, etched, and fired twice.  All my ceramic products are handmade in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.

Height: 1-1/2″
