Description
The process I used in the making of these mini planters involved making a pattern and pressing that pattern onto a slab of red clay. I use a stamp roller that for this pattern I carved a floral design into it. After building (shaping the clay) into a mini planter shape, I fired it once before I applied a low-fire glaze. The glaze itself is a sky blue color and flows gently over the raised floral print. Each stamped mini planter is held up by 3 raised feet and has a drain hole.
All my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind products.
