Description
Adorned with flowers from the language of Floriography, each bloom on the figure symbolizes a part of this narrative: sorrow, loss, courage, and renewal. The surface, crafted from terracotta clay, features intricate mono-printing and sgraffito techniques and is decorated with underglazes and washes, reflecting the depth of this lived experience. Fired three times, the sculpture’s finish is as layered and textured as the story it tells.
