Ceramic Mountains 6-Inch Carved Planter w/Tray

Hand-crafted ceramic Scallop Edge Planter made from terracotta clay.  6” in diameter, perfect for any kind of houseplant. It has a drain hole and a drip tray which hides from view. After rolling out a slab of clay, forming the shape of the planter, it was then brushed with a white slip. After drying, a unique design was etched through the white to bring out the burnt orange color of the clay body. A foot was added to the bottom which raises it from the table top and a drip tray cozily fits within the raised foot.

Hand built from a low-fire red terracotta clay, stamped, glazed, and fired twice.  All my ceramic products are handmade in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces.
