Description
For these stamped red clay mini planters, a pattern was pressed onto the clay slab by a stamp roller. My design I made for the roller reminds me of an ancient language. After building the small planter, it was fired once before I applied a low-fire Amber Aventurine glaze. The glaze itself turns a red-brown and random flecks of gold sparkles appear inside and outside of the planter. Each planter is held up by 3 feet and has a drain hole.
All my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind products.
