Leafy Times Small Dishes

Being surrounded by leaves that have fallen during the Fall season, I was inspired to create this design. Using a monoprint technique, I hand draw onto newsprint the design, then add the underglazes before transferring it onto a slab of clay. It is then formed into a bowl-shape, etched, dried, then fired once more with a clear matte glaze.

Hand built from a low-fire red clay, etched, glazed, and fired twice.
All my ceramic products are handmade in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind pieces. Food and dishwasher safe, though I suggest handwashing this item.
