A happy little blue bird sits among the flowers in this ceramic spoon rest, at peace with the world. I have always liked little spoon rests in the kitchen, handy when cooking to hold the stray utensil near the stove.
Hand built from a mid-range clay body, glazed, etched, and fired twice. All my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind products.
