This 4” planter is perfect for herbs or small indoor plants and they will look lovely on a table or (most) windowsills.
The little kitty faces on this hand-built ceramic planter are curious kittens who enjoy chasing the dots flying around them. Two different techniques are used in the making of the dots and faces: image transfer and paper resist. These are applied to a cone 6 red clay.
A drainage hole is in the bottom of each of these planters with an accompanying tray and have been finished with a clear gloss glaze.
All my ceramic products are made in small batches, often sold as one-of-a-kind products. The glazes are lead-free but because the inside is not glazed and thus is porous, I do not recommended its use use as a food container but you can certainly grow food plants and herbs with it too.
